Imagethief?

My name is Will Moss. I am an American, although I haven't lived in the US for nearly ten years. I was born in 1967.

Right now I am a PR consultant working for the Beijing office of one of the big, International firms. I've been in Beijing since June of 2004, when I quit my old job in Singapore and came up here to see what China was like.

Before coming to China I lived for almost nine years in Singapore, which I consider my long-term home. Of course, I once thought I'd be moving back to the US, so who knows how it will really work out.

In my life I have been a PR consultant, an e-commerce consultant, a computer game maker, a radio producer, a TV assignment editor and a freelance writer. Plus there were some silly jobs, here and there.

I do a lot of photography. Most of it has been underwater, although I seldom travel without camera in tow. Surprisingly I have taken very few China photos so far. Go figure. I've taken the camera with me to Malaysia, Indonesia, Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos, New Zealand, and back home to the USA.

The domain name "Imagethief" comes not from PR (although that makes a certain, wierd sense), but from photography and the act of stealing an image from a moment in time. I am not a great photographer, but I do enjoy it.

For people who may be googling my name, here is a keyword CV:

Beijing...well, I prefer not to say just yet.

I like technical scuba diving, photography and writing. I am a news junkie. If this sounds like a personal ad, sorry, I am not looking (although I do like long walks in the moonlight). I am married to a wonderful Singaporean woman who speaks far better Chinese than I do, and has the good sense not to waste time blogging.

A monk and two young friends at the monastery at Roluos, Cambodia.
