Moo Moo Mutants

You may have known my old site, mmmutants.com. I let that expire, along with the associated e-mail address that I had used for eight years, both because it had become stale, and because that address was in every spam list on the planet, twice. But I'm still nostalgic for the name, and it's worth taking a moment to explain where it came from.

When I was about 10 (in 1977) there was a graffito painted alongside the wall of a warehouse on 14th St, in San Francisco's South of Market Area. It was actually two graffiti next to each other that read well together. It said:

Moo Moo Mutants! Are you ready for mind control, as you've found no pot of gold?

This resonated with me, for reasons probably best unexplored. That graffito, long since painted over, is immortalized somewhere on a decaying strip of super8 film. Really, it should be scanned before inevitable decay claims it.

For many years, the "M3" radioactive trefoil was the logo of my website. Designed when I was at Games Online, I still have a soft spot for it. If I was more energetic, I'd get rid of the shadow, though.
