Beijing: Panjiayuan and Qianmen
The
first ten images below are from the Panjiayuan flea market in
southeastern Beijing. Although this is a bit of a tourist stop, it's
always a fun place to wander around. As with most of Beijing's tourism
locations, the most interesting thing to photograph is people. On this
day it was brutally hot, and the heat and post-lunch apathy had sent
many of the vendors into comas.
The
last two pictures are from the hutongs and small streets around Qianmen
Dajie, south of Tian'anmen Square. These were taken on the same day.
